Like bricks in a wall the people stand together!

Part of any 21st Century civil rights organization must be the use of 21st Century technology including the monitoring of events in and around Humboldt County that the Center anticipates may be a hot spot for constitutional violations. We need therefore volunteers who can assist us in consultation about setting up the appropriate monitoring devices that will keep everyone honest about what happened or did not happen at a hot spot event. We feel strongly that a public event that is being monitored with audio and visual recording devices will in and of itself prevent the abuse of constitutional rights by law enforcement, or at least cause hesitation and circumspection before law enforcement acts.

Did you know that the insurance companies of law enforcement visually record most planned events? Seldom, if ever, do those videos become available to the wronged person. We need our own.
